SIGNS OF A PERFORATED EYE

■ an irregular or peaked pupil
■ a shallow anterior chamber
compared to the other eye
■ absent or diminished red
reflex
■ a boggy haemorrhagic
swelling over the sclera
■ uveal tissue, which is dark,
lying external to the globe

be present.
